BC Teaching with New Media Award (2010)
ED109.01: Teaching about the Natural World. This is an elementary science methods class for undergraduates taught at Gardner Elementary School in conjunction with the afterschool program for Grade 1-5 students. The goal of partnering with Gardner is to provide resources and assistance to Gardner while at the same time providing undergraduate elementary majors an opportunity to teach science to elementary students in an urban classroom.
